Before you roll.
What does a short film cost?
It depends on the script: how many characters, how many locations, how many shoot days and how much post-production. A 60-second micro drama and a 30-minute docu-drama are very different budgets, so we quote after reading your script or a one-page outline. Tell us your budget and we will tell you honestly what it can buy.
How long does it take to make one?
A 60-second film can go from script to delivery in two to three weeks. Most 10 to 20 minute shorts take six to ten weeks: about two weeks for writing and casting, one or two for prep, a few shoot days, and three to four weeks for edit, colour, sound and music.
Can you work with our script?
Yes. Bring a finished script, a rough draft or just a premise. We can develop it with you, rewrite it, or produce it exactly as written.
Do you handle casting and locations?
Yes. We run auditions and look tests, and we scout and secure locations, including permissions, before the first shoot day is confirmed.
Where will our film be released?
Wherever it belongs. We deliver masters for YouTube and OTT platforms, vertical cut-downs for social, subtitles and thumbnails, and we prepare festival submissions when the film is made for the festival circuit.
Who owns the finished film?
You do. Full rights transfer on final payment, as set out in the scope of work. We keep the right to show excerpts in our portfolio and showreel unless the agreement says otherwise.
